You guys had me at blood and semen.

What better way to celebrate than firing something out of the pipe?

I get that when trying to connect to a public wi-fi hotspot. I had to create a hotspot with my phone to connect since I'm not at home.
It crashed again when logging into the eshop but then it worked.
Now it still crashes every time I try to connect to the public hotspot but everything else seems ok

I've had this issue at home for the first time since I got it, tried it two times, both during scanning Skylanders characters.

Are you still experiencing it, and what did you do about it?

I'm stuck in a boot loop with this issue now. I've emailed Nintendo to find out what to do next.

It seems that the bug can mean more than one thing, cuz mine has never been in boot loop , and I haven't got the problem since

only had the problem at the start.
got it when turning it on for the first time
when diwnloading the day one update
when lauching the eshop the first time
and now I only have it when connecting to the wifi at work which has a dodgy security proxy

besides that everything is working great

Got this error codes today (2168-002). Cleared all wifi setting in Switch and then hard restart. Tried the same guest wifi and got the code again. This was attempting to connect to a simple hotel network. Turned on my phone hotspot and connected fine. Seems related to public wifi security protocol. Nintendo needs to address soon. Fine with Zelda off-line consuming all of my gaming time, not good when other 1st party multiplayer games launch in a few months. A handheld portable gaming console that doesn't easily connect to the internet in 2017! I love the Switch but...
