@Giancarlothomaz Well....this doesn't say us so much now, does it? I mean we practially "know" that no retail game will come in september and october is when pikmin 3 deluxe has it's release window.
But wouldn't 3D world and a collection of 3D-mario games cannibalise on each others sales, especially if they are released like 1 month after each other? Just look at Mario Maker 2 and Mario Bros U Deluxe, MM 2 did not sell as much as I thought it would and I think MM U Deluxe, also a 2D-mario game (altough very different) affected the totalt sales.
To be fair, announcing the 3D remasters in September would make more sense than launching them this month (that ship's long set sail). So we can save the salt until after September comes and goes without any news on them and they get "delayed into 2021".
I'll still buy that 35th anniversary collection. No matter what. You just watch
There's a 95% probability I'll do the same. Depends on if they're 1. Actually happening soon and 2. If the spread of games encompasses more than one collection.

@Tyranexx I was more or less being silly and saying even if its not real im grabbing itπ. But in all seriousness, if its really REALLY real, im all in.
@NintendoByNature I probably wouldn't, even if they were real. I dunno, maybe. Though, if Galaxy 2 was included... well... Yeah, that would make it an instant buy. But just 64 / Sunshine / Galaxy I don't think would cut it, I've played them all too much.
@MarioBrickLayer i Super Mario Odyssey 2 make a lot of sense to Nintendo to release on Switch given the game sucess, theres a lot of gameplay possibily that Nintendo can explore in a sequel to Super Mario Odyssey, it gonna be just like Super Mario Galaxy to Super Mario Galaxy 2.
@Chunga well that din't stop Nintendo for releasing Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD and Super Mario 3D World very closely, i don't think Nintendo care about canibalising the sales of somes of it Franchise/games, Super Mario All-Star 3D problaby is gonna be the Holiday title of Switch for this year and Super Mario 3D World Deluxe is gonna be a early 2021 release.
@GraveDusk143 yes VGC, Venture Beat and Eurogamer was the first sites that said that Nintendo would do a 3D Mario Collection to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the franchise, and this photo represent all the mainline Mario games both 2D and 3D before the release of Super Mario Odyssey in octobre 27 of 2017.
@link3710 id totally be in with 64 and either sunshine, galaxy 1 or 2. Or even just a remaster of just 2 of those games. 64 is my favorite Mario game of all time. So it wouldn't be a tough decision for me. The others would be a bonus.
@NintendoByNature How about if we want it to be real? Either way I'm in, though less so for both Galaxy titles. Heck, it's only been 2-3 years since I played Galaxy 2. Found it on clearance and paid maybe $20.

@Grumblevolcano That's not the Direct info I expected to see when I saw your avatar on the front page. π
Thanks though, it's been really bugging me we have a new calendar month and no update about ACNH anywhere, not even Twitter. π Well at least Isabelle just gave me the heads up on shaking trees, so the game did acknowledge autumn. And yes I booted it up while I was typing this. π
Someday we'll find it
