Dr. Kawashimaโs Brain Training 2

Paper Mario printable coloring book available now!(2500 platinum points)
And last โA sequel to 1-2 Switch is now in developmentโ
@Ralizah Not buying into that either. The Persona 5 Switch port looks like itโs becoming 2019-2020s Mother 3. There is always that 2% possibility though.
@Grumblevolcano You make that sound like a lot, but let's look at the schedule for games they've published (or own the IP for in TW101s case) since the end of August:
August (including since it was last day) - Astral Chain - 0/1
September - LoZ: LA, Super Kirby Clash, Dragon Quest XI, Daemon Ex Machina - 1/4
October - Ring Fit Adventure, Luigi's Mansion 3 - 0/2
November - Pokemon, Mario & Sonic, Stretchers - 1/3
December - Brain Age - 0/1
January - TMS#FE - 1/1
February - 0/0
March - Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Animal Crossing - 0/2
April - TW101 - 0/1
Total - 3/15 or 1/5 were JRPGs, and there have been multiple (typically about 3-4) games in-between each JRPG, spacing them out evenly. Right now for upcoming games that might hit this year we have
Bayonetta 3
NMH III - sorta, it's a major exclusive at least
Bravely Default II
XC: Remake
LoZ: BotW 2
So 2/3 that are confirmed this year are JRPGs, and 2/5 total are. And for known games in the pipeline we have:
Metroid Prime 4
New Xenoblade
New ARPG from Monolith
So mmm... okay so I started this post to disprove you but actually I could see Golden Sun happening now. Mostly because if they are doing that, I wouldn't expect it until second half, and we don't have any JRPGs right now that are likely to launch in the fall or winter. So welp, you might be right.
I bet they're probably planning a sequel to Ring Fit, given that it's sold quite well. Probably with a different gizmo this time so they can keep charging more than just the regular game price.
@NintendoByNature Nintendo games rarely go on sale. And if they do, they are not reduced by much. Take Zelda breath of the wild, sold really well, They don't need to put it on sale for much. They should have sales for their games that reduce the prices more. And Ring fit adventure is having stock shortages(has for a while).
@DannyBoi I'm just saying it seemed like a niche audience that went for ring fit adventure but I could be wrong, even though it sold well. A decent sale should get more eyes on it and more copies sold.
Yeah me too. I'm in pretty good shape so I don't need it for any kind of regular exercise incentive, but I do want to try it just cos it looks fun. But I'm not paying that much for a bit of fun. If it halves in price in a few years, I'll get it.
@DannyBoi It's because of the news cycle. Gaming news usually only comes on weekdays, so journalists are only available Monday - Friday. Taking time zones into account, Thursday is the last day that you could do it and still be sure you'll get coverage. You can't announce until either late on Monday or early Tuesday, again thanks to timezones around the world. Therefore, most Directs are announced Tuesday morning for either Wednesday or Thursday.
They used to experiment with other days, but it's by far the most coverage for directs using that method it appears.
