Space and Games are similar. Space is endless and new stuff is out there waiting to be discovered. Games are always being made but the creativity is different from one game to another and so many more ideas still haven't been imagined or created yet. (That came out better than expected lol)
I mean I was skeptical about the whole thing falling on the same week as Mario Vs. Donkey tbh.
If you look at Directs in the past like:
March 2020 Mini Direct - Week after ACNH
February 2021 Direct - Week after SM3DW + BF
June 2022 Partner Showcase - Week after FE Warriors: Three Hopes
September 2022 Direct - Week after Splatoon 3
That being said I do agree with some of the above comments that Nintendo simply doesn't have anything to share with us at the moment but I guess a Partner Showcase could still be in the works??
Idk at this point XD
@Nintoz Hey... thats some sort of trend to build hype on so... NINTENDO DIRECT NEXT WEEK

Oh brother. Grubb always pushing the envelope. I still love that "big blowout zelda direct" from 2022 he told was coming that never happened. At this point, I believe nothing he says. He's lumped in with Samus hunter and zippo now.
Just trust in Pyoro, he knows what he is talking about

Don't forget that it was just pure doom and gloom during 2019 before the first direct of the year. Many declared Switch as dead then because of "Switch has nothing to play". And then that legendary feb-19 direct occurred and almost everyone suddenly were in 7th heaven.
Same thing can happen this time. I have a feeling that the next direct will be nuts. Don't forget that Switch is not even 7 years old yet. It took PS2 eleven years to sell 150m, Switch has 140m in less than 7 years... PS4 turns 11 years old this year and still gets crazy amount of games despite not selling well (honestly almost nothing) for years now.
Why should Switch suddenly just die off? Is it because of the fear of that Switch actually in going to surpass NDS and PS2?
Can't wait until seeing everyones reaction when a regular direct gets announced and everyone loses their mind then.
199% Promise here. If it's actually a partner direct and that it's indeed a "Switch 2" reveal during march, so I'll delete my account here. So all you have something to looking forward then, not!
Never gonna happen. 0% that "Switch 2 " comes out this year, not a chance. Switch Pro has been a thing according those "leakers" and "insiders" for every year since 2018 and never happened, so the history will repeat until Nintendo by themselves announces "Switch 2" in late 2025 or early 2026.
do you think people are gonna scroll through this thread in about 3-4 years time and wonder why we're talking about that one WarioWare character so much XD

I'm just now looking into this thread and I'm wondering the same exact thing.
@Keman I find your commitment to the notion that the next console isn't happening any time soon, let alone this year kind of commendable. Like I definitely disagree with you but I like you're sticking to it. I don't think anyone's arguing the Switch is going to keel over the second the next console comes, just that the transition to new hardware is imminent. It's not really the best idea to ride out the wave all the way until you hit the sand, and despite continued sales, both of your examples got successors within 6 and 7 years of their launch. (and the Switch turns 7 this March, so even that lines up well)
Can I do a completionist run of video game history? (It's still being made so we'll see)
Currently Playing: Unicorn Overlord (Switch)
Next Up: Sand Land (PC)
Panic (Reality)
