How likely will we see a New Super Mario Bros game on NX? It's been almost 3 years and we should get a new game in this series, New Super Mario Bros. 3. Nintendo should also consider a New Super Mario World game.

Here's the issue. SMM is a level creation tool. A tool that allows players to make Mario levels on which aren't anywhere as good as how Nintendo does it. Its not something of a fresh experience or doesn't add new power-ups or new stories even though its barely existent(although the Super Mario Land series did more story than the New ones) And while the art assets will most likely be the same throughout, it may be new and its bound to offer new features.
