Ugh, I played the demo a few days ago, saw something white in the corner of my eye thinking it was a Giggi. I want Gigginox back, lol...

Gigginox was better than Khezu, but that’s not saying much.

So many other monsters I’d rather have, like Seregios for starters.

I just miss some of the 3rd gen monsters that haven't been around since 3U. I guess the ones that made it in Gen/Gen U since they were basically just ported. So excited to see Agnaktor return in 4th gen, only to realize that he's just...3U Agna...sighs TwT

Rise is very 3rd gen inspired. I’m very pleased with the amount of 3rd Gen representation, maps included.

Although I really wish Great Jaggi was in. I have amazing memories of him as a new hunter back in MH3U. And Qurupeco. I miss Qurupeco. I’m ok with aquatic monsters being MIA, like Lagiacrus and Gobul. But Crimson Qurupeco and Flooded Forest go together like macaroni and cheese.

Seems we’re gonna have to wait until the ultimate expansion before we have a truly massive roster though.

...I still say I can see Gobul working in this game. >.>

I'm expecting to hear a lot of Japanese-ified versions of familiar monster themes. It's going to be interesting!

Oh my gosh, the palico and Palamute armor! And you can wirebug up and climb the mud pillars!

Also, new gameplay compilation in volcano and desert.

Is it releasing in the west or Japan only? Physical or digital?

Seeing how they gave us World's OST over here, I'm pretty sure they'll do the same with Rise. It really does seem like they'll be treating this like how they did with World.

Next week is when those 3 streams are (Monday, Tuesday and Thursday), probably a reasonable guess that a second demo appears during that week.

Amazon cancelled my collector's edition pre-order

same for me amazon UK just cancelled my collector edition. so sad. hate when those things happens now it can't be ordered anywhere else other than scalpers. did that particular edition got cancelled by nintendo? or is just amazon overselling stuff and then cancelling it. ?

Though perhaps on the brighter side, Nintendo UK emailed me earlier today that their game + t-shirt bundles (with free steelbook and cards) are now available to pre-order. So I ordered the bundle with the Aknosom t-shirt plus the Magnamalo amiibo (which I would've gotten with the CE) just earlier.

It must be that they have more orders than stock. Still frustrating though. They should remove the option to pre-order when the availability is gone, instead of letting you go through with it and cancelling later.

That’s why I order from as many places as possible. I had like 5 of the Collector editions preordered across 3 retailers, like 6 of the MH consoles preordered across 2 US retailers and 2 EU retailers...

I always try to order extra and cancel the ones I don’t need closer to release.

I'm so ready for another demo, hopefully they'll drop one where you fight Magnamalo after one of them, perhaps after the last one.

As long as the demo contains the Sandy Plains or the Flooded Forest, lol

Idk if they’ll give us a new area. Maybe, but I’m preparing myself mentally for Shrine Ruins, just because they may not want to spoil too much before the main game.

Hypothetically, someone could have kept the first demo with Shrine Ruins, then keep the second demo with say, Flooded Forest, and they’ve got unlimited free access to 40% of the game’s maps and like 10% - 15% of the game’s monsters.

Im abit new to MH. Played one before, but not much. Just wondering what weapon type/class is recommended to someone who likes the support/tank style ?
