I am disappointed by the 3D collection. No real graphical enhancements. No additional content. No Mario Galaxy 2. Still costs 60€. I can play these games way nicer (and cheaper!) on an emulator. Thanks, but no thanks.
A little confused why the 3d collection is only available til March 2021,or did I read that incorrectly? Also you CAN get a physical copy, but those will be in limited supply?
I want to buy that game for playing Super Mario Sunshine in portable mode since i have never played before.
Not interesting with Mario 64, still felt frustrated to replay Super Mario Galaxy again after beating the Wii version.
My plan B is getting Super Mario Sunshine Gamecube version if the physical copies of Switch version is suddenly out of stock.
I smell of very fishy scandalous scalping from this game.
The scalper will try to monopolize the physical copies and sold with very unbuyable price.
I just wonder if they worded it such that it'll be replaced by a regular edition. A limited edition eshop game is baffling, but it may very well be my only hope of getting it.
Well well, now that was something. I'm not sure how I feel overall. I'm both happy and disappointed.
Super Mario All Stars on NSO today is amazing news, well happy with that. Mario 35 looks nuts, I can't wait to play it. Wish it was available now. Seeing Mario 3D World made me want to hook up my Wii U and play it now but then they showed the new content. I'll be getting that for sure. I hope the content is substantial.
Mario Kart Live disappoints me. It's unique for sure and pretty impressive but it's not something I'll ever play and kind of rules out the chance of us getting a new proper Mario Kart this gen. As much fun as it looks, it'll surely get boring with the same background scenery. Perhaps there's more to it. Most of my disappointment comes from Super Mario 3D All Stars. It's great and I'll buy it on day one for sure and love every minute of it. But I had hoped they'd improve the graphics, not just add a higher resolution and widescreen.
I would have loved to play the Galaxy games on the Switch but I'm not too thrilled about the idea of paying full retail price for just the first game. I don't really care for Sunshine and they don't seem to have made any significant improvements to 64 to make it worth playing again.
@BlueOcean I was originally thinking they might add it as DLC until they announced the whole collection is only available till the end of March so that's unlikely.
@Octane I noticed that while browsing the eShop. Very off-putting. They really went with the as little effort as possible approach.
@BlueOcean I mean, on top of laziness, the games only going to be available if you're willing to pay 100$+ to scalpers. No Galaxy 2. Mario Kart Live looks awful. Super Mario 35 looks okay, but will vanish in a couple months. Probably no other Nintendo releases between now and the end of March, if not the end of June. No widescreen in 64 (really?). 3D World has something new, but it's probably going to end up being like 5 short levels and a complete disappointment to everyone since they didn't explain what it was.
