@Dezzy Well, it's still only giving the appearance of it, considering it's a simulated visual effect and not actual literal heat haze
Anyway, since the original game used these, I just wasn't sure if it would be just super easy to translate it to newer hardware with higher resolutions without putting much extra work on it/changing some things.

With each passing day, the likelihood of the Mario 3D remastered collection being real decreases. If there’s still no announcement by 9/15 then rest assured the rumors were completely wrong.
@LetsaGO I don't expect them to give us three games for one. I think people are super optimistic to think that's a possibility. Nintendo likes to milk their customers not reward them. The one trilogy "metroid trilogy" was as good as it gets but that was a IP that didn't traditionally sell well. What's the historic evidence for a Mario compilation? Mario all stars? That was forever ago when Nintendo competed very differently. The Wii got the same Mario all stars repackaged on a disc. They didn't throw in 64 and sunshine with it. If there are Mario releases I believe they will come separately but I don't have any cool YouTubers to use as sources so what do I know.

Maybe we will get all stars again repackaged from the SNES/wii release. Wouldn’t surprise me

People are just trying to save face now. I don't think this collection was even real, all smoke and mirrors to throw everyone in a frenzy(I would like to be proven wrong).

@Slowdive you're on every thread so I can't avoid you. Plus I'd love a Mario collection But following "insiders" doesn't magically make you an "insider." Yet you insist on copying and pasting random news articles and tweets while making excuses for wrong predictions and giving us your interpretations or guesses on what these things all mean. Even nate the hate said he'd stop predicting. Maybe you should take your own mentors advice.
Were people this confident about the Star Fox Grand Prix thing? Genuinely curious. Felt like that rumor just popped up with a lot of people supporting it then it died quickly
