@Slowdive I agree. If Eurogamer say their sources are legitimate, then I believe them.
Just because something was true at the point it was reported though does not mean things haven't changed. For all we know, the pandemic could have knocked these games off schedule by a good few months. We are still waiting on big game announcements. Obviously Nintendo wasn't going to rock up to E3 without anything... and yet, here we are a month after E3 should have happened and Nintendo haven't yet revealed anything major.
@BlueOcean Yeah, as others have said, a fair few reliable sources all came out at a similar time saying the same thing, so we believe that the information they shared was correct - at least at the time.
It's important to remember that we've only just hit the halfway mark of 2020 - no window other than 2020 was given, so the reveal could still be months away yet with an 'out next week' style launch for all we know. Also, it's very possible that the pandemic has caused delays in Nintendo's marketing and release schedule.
Yeah, although I wouldn't expect them to all be at once, there's still plenty of time for some official reveal .... The Paper Mario that was rumoured with the other stuff is happening, so maybe after that, they'll say something about the rest?
Looking at past mario anniversaries. This Mario 3d remakes and remasters just sounds too good to be true.
Mario 3d world deluxe turbo is likely tho for full price
We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.
Never believed it, not only is it too good to be true by Nintendo standards (see Link's Awakening for $60 for example) but also it feels like the kind of thing that something else could be mistaken for like how there were all those Star Fox Grand Prix rumours that in reality was just a free update for Starlink.
@BabyYoshi12 This has been reported by several important websites, you are not providing counter-evidence and no one has said that it has been confirmed by Nintendo and do you believe that Nintendo would confirm anything? They never do. You don't believe it and that's fine but you don't know more than three gaming websites so your disregard doesn't make sense to me.
@BlueOcean It’s being reported because lots of websites share rumours. The thing about rumours are you either believe them or you don’t, and I believe in the Mario Remasters, but not this account. I am just sharing my opinion on the rumour, which is basically the point of this thread. 😉
Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.
@BabyYoshi12 As I said, you are free to not believe anything not confirmed by Nintendo. I didn't know you were talking about the Twitter account. I don't have any reason to believe it's fake if it was made in March but it doesn't really matter because it's the 35th anniversary of Mario anyway. Nintendo won't confirm anything unless it's good for them.

I'm pretty sure the Grand Prix rumours and Starlink are coincidental. The rumours were about Retro making it and not Ubisoft.
If Zippo is right, then the 3D Mario collection will be pretty bare bones. Not more than what you already can get from standard PC emulation. If it doesn't even include Mario Galaxy 2, I don't think I would pay 60 bucks for this then. And it definitely can't warrant a stand alone Mario Direct. What do you guys think?

I think you're right on the price.
If they are going to announce Odyssey 2 is in development (like they did with BOTW2) and a few other Mario related items (link ups with other companies like they've done with Lego, new book etc) then there might be enough for a Direct (mini?), if not then I think they should announce it in the same way as Paper Mario.
