Honestly even if it's a troll post, people are jumping to that conclusion too quickly. It's not like the user hasn't replied in a month, many have busy schedules. As for her problem, while I don't sympathise, I think that some replies are a bit too agressive. The Switch is really worth it for many of us but she might not be even into gaming in the first place and this was just her trying to get into it regardless of the motive. Gaming isn't for everyone just like any other activity, or the Switch simply hasn't been the best option. Different strokes folks.
@kaitlin459 in my opinion you might be feeling guilty to spend that quantity in something that you don't seem to be familiar with or you just let yourself get influenced by the system's popularity or something. Either way I recommend to spend a bit of time with the system to see if it changes your opinion, specially if there's someone that can borrow you games so that you don't spend more money. If not, as others suggested, selling it is a good choice and you'll probably recover most of your money.
