2023 is almost behind us. In terms of third party support, 2023 was a banner year on Switch.
But we as gamers always want more.
My top three "where's the Switch port?" games heading into 2024 are...
Guilty Gear Strive - My argument is always the same. Arcsystemworks got us Dragon Ball FighterZ and DNF Duel on Switch, so don't try to tell me it isn't possible. Nintendo needs to know the smell of the game.
Tomb Raider - That 2013 reboot. I could've sworn this was rumored as coming to the Switch a couple or few years ago. I can only assume Embracer Group's financial woes put a stop to this port?
Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel I & II - At this point I'm just begging XSEED to get off their *** and serve up a western release of the Switch ports eastern territories have had for years now.
Switch Physical Collection - 1,294 games (as of September 28th, 2024)

For me its pretty simple - Dark Souls 2 and 3! I am pretty sure the Switch could handle both? 3 would take more work... but if Witcher3, No Man's Sky and Nier can run 'well enough' then DS3 should be possible.
Visions of Mana!
Ok, it is not yet on anything really, but it seems so unfair to ignore Nintendo here. Some people speculate Switch 2 will have it, but they never bothered to give us Secret of Mana remake for that matter, and there was no reason for that. It easily could have handled it....
Yes, I much prefer the Snes version anyday, but I would have liked it on Switch too.
Persona 3 Reloaded comes to mind. Maybe I'm not looking at the gameplay videos closely enough, but the game seems no more demanding than Persona 5 Royal, and that game runs pretty well on Switch. Still, I kinda feel like it may be something like a launch title for the successor of the Switch.
I would probably say THE ENTIRETY OF THE KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM COLLECTION!!! Seriously WHY is the collection a cloud version? Kingdom hearts 3 is a PS4 title and they managed to get persona 5 royal running on the switch with no problems so why can’t they get the integrum collection on the switch without making it a inferior experience?
@Tasuki - Ah. That may explain it then if so. It did go to Steam though? That is the only way I could play it, but I don't really like playing on the PC. Just always been a console guy.
@Mana_Knight Sony have gradually become more positive about PC over time. The gigantic PC push started in 2020 under Jim Ryan leadership with Horizon Zero Dawn and grew since then but before that they allowed the odd game here and there come to PC like Helldivers in 2015 and Guns Up in 2018.
I'll lead with Pizza Tower and Valiant Hearts: Coming Home. Both should be well within the capabilities of the Switch.
Pizza Tower is, I suspect, exclusive to PC because it's been made by genuine indie devs without a lot of backing and they'd need to do some scrabbling around to get the money for console ports. Given the acclaim and excellent word of mouth, that's probably going to happen soon though.
Valiant Hearts was bankrolled by Netflix, so there's probably at least a time exclusive deal on it. While playable enough on phone, I'd think it deserves playing on a big screen with proper controls like its predecessor.
Chrono Trigger is on PC/mobile but not Switch (also not on PS5 for that matter).
Genshin Impact is on PS5/mobile/PC but not Switch, although since it simply won't fit on Switch without a big sd card, it may need to wait for Switch 2.
In general even though Switch has more games on it than PS4/5 does, we are losing a lot simply because they won't run on Switch. The Baldur's Gate devs for example said they really wanted to be on a Nintendo platform if it were possible.
Switch gets such an absurd amount of games, I don't actually know of many PS4 games not on Switch unless the reason was a) console exclusivity or b) It would be a nuisance to port to wimpy Switch hardware.
Of course there are nigh-infinite games on Steam and/or mobile that haven't come to any console.
