It’s on sale and I want to know if it’s worth $14.

Heigh Ho Heigh Ho. It’s off to work (from home) I go.

If you like LEGO then it’s for you. It’s a pretty generic game but well worth 14.

@BabyYoshi12 I got Lego City Undercover for $15 so my nieces have something to play. I went to play it, just to get the game started, and then put 30 hours into it 😋 I don't know what Harry Potter is like, it could be good, I don't know. But I would recommend Undercover. Its open world, and you Dan steal cars like grand theft auto.

If you're a big Harry Potter fan then sure. As a gaming series Lego (insert franchise) are fine if unspectacular but the love of the material and easter eggs they throw to the game is what really makes up for it.

Just don't expect to 100% it, I've never managed to do it with any of the games even when it means I can play as one of my favourite characters.

From all the LEGO games I've played, the Harry Potter ones are the weakest. So much that I actually named a problem of the entire series after them. The Harry Potter Syndrome, as I call it, takes extreme liberties to stretch the source material in order to make a level, which usually involves repeating the same actions. It's just much worse with the Harry Potter games as nearly everyone has the same abilities.

If you enjoy the Harry Potter series, it's well worth it the $14 you'd pay for it, as even without going through the grind of 100%ing both, the story will take around 30 hours to beat. And even with that problem (which only effects just under half of the levels in the game) it's still an enjoyable game. Just be aware that this is first generation TT LEGO, so the characters will only emote through sound, not talk.

With very few exceptions, LEGO games are all essentially the same. If you like one of them, then you'll probably like all of them. It largely depends on how much you like the licensed property that's bolted on top.

Any LEGOs games are worth getting they are fun but challenging as well. And if you get it for cheap go for it worse you can resell it. As long as this is the Physical cart.

Challenging? I have to disagree with that. Whilst there might a handful of side missions, particularly racing in vehicles, that can be difficult these games are very easy.
