I noticed that if you only buy stuff sold at retail stores that if one wanted to buy name Brand memory that was genuine, the per gigabyte price seems to be lowest at around 128 GB quantity level.

Go any higher than 128 and you're either playing the Amazon / eBay roulette or you're paying more per gig as the number goes up.

Since Nintendo doesn't make their own memory cards, maybe they could make hollow game paks that could house a micro sd card. Though in theory it could be removable it's primarily designed to stay installed so that you could swap out game packs a lot easier than you could swap out micro SD cards.

As for the piracy issue: I assume each individual downloaded copy has both an ID and a code to verify that it's a legitimate copy that's corresponds with the ownership ID. If that's the way the game could be unlocked then that would mean that your microSD card would only work on your Nintendo switch.

I know some people would say just erase it and redownload it. Unfortunately not everyone has a hundred megabit connections. I had to search long and hard to find an internet company in my zip code that could do decent internet , and the best I could do with the service that is compatible with the Nintendo switch is 5 megabits per second in, 5 megabits per second out, and that company is Visible Wireless.

If it weren't for Visible Wireless I'd be stuck at 1.6 megabits per second in, 400 kilobits per second out.

What's actually the issue? You can already swap out the console SD cards so I'm not sure what advanatage of saving games to a blank catridge would be.

Nintendo can't do everything they choose microSD for expansion options and internet isn't their business. The microSD cards are inexpensive right now so there's no excuse to get the biggest microSD one can purchase.

First of all Nintendo says you should never regularly take out your main SD card because there's chances you could finger it and it causes problems so the only time you should really change it is when you upgrade so therefore if you're intentionally swapping you risk damaging data or losing data more frequently just by physically losing the SD card which is a lot easier to lose cuz it's smaller than a game pack shuck.

Second, I found a true little help you find out if you've been ripped off within the return period. I have a 512 gig micro SD card from Hyundai playing the eBay roulette, with a guy said he had a guarantee. I had a program that I use on my Mac that rapidly reads and writes random data to test the size and speed of the SD card and then once you verify the speed, size, and accuracy of the read/write process, if it qualifies you, erase and do it gradually over time. If it doesn't you request a refund. If it was an honest one and a thousand mistake batch he'll ask you to send it back. But usually they were from rip-off artists when they blatantly sell one terabyte SD cards that only get 100 GB. if you have an eBay or Amazon guarantee find out as soon as possible invest $5 in a quick read write and verify SD card program. That's the only chance that you won't get burned on the ebay/amazon lottery.

For most people who have decent internet speeds that would be enough. However if your internet speed is 5 MB in 5 MB out deleting games and reloading them is not exactly the easiest thing even for small games.

If I was able to buy these hollow game pack shucks I'd stick the cheapest per gig price of a brand name SD card I find it a store like SanDisk. I know BJ's has like 128 gig for like 10 bucks. That's 1/4 the size of my 512 internal. Reliable 512 gig cards cost over a hundred bucks. So four times 10 is 40 That's the same 512 gigs, but now that Nintendo added memory transfer from main hard drive to internal SD card maybe they could do something with these game pack shucks that hold external SD cards.

Heck, it even be practical collectibles with different Nintendo and license third-party characters on the front of the sticker claiming it's a micro SD external game pack adapter.

Ask for security SD cards are already written to a specific switch user by both switch machine ID and Nintendo online ID. There's nothing that prevents more than one from existing.

if there's a game I want to put on the side and not put on my main switch hard drive I was thinking of using those as temporary storage places in case someone wants to play it. These would be my less frequently played games so that I could focus on the games I want to play more because my brother doesn't want to endlessly Wade through I don't know about 700 games, especially when some of the prices are ridiculously generous everything from $10 games being $0.10 for a random title, the titles you eventually want based on the description being 50 to 75% off if you're willing to wait a month or two, except for Nintendo brand titles:;you either want them at full price or you're going to wait forever to get them.

so if I do want to bring up those games then I can organize them into four 128 Gb
