Topic: Eshop problem "please verify the information that you have entered"

Every time I try and make a purchase in the eshop using my card I get a piece of red text that reads "please verify the information you have entered" even though the same card works for a different account on the same switch. Help would be greatly appreciated

Anyone? I'm still getting these problems

Don't know if it's the problem, but if your account is set to a different region and you haven't authorised online purchases from abroad with that card...? I'm just brainstorming, so don't take it as gospel. ^-^ If the account is set to your region, then I have no clue.

Having the same problem. No idea what's going on. The other day I bought a game, no problems, it went through; next game I tried, I got the same message. Plenty of funds in the card, so no worries about that. Used the card plenty of times. Stumped.

@bixente You could try using the website as a workaround. You can purchase games from the 'Games Details' page of the Nintendo Website. Link in my sig has prices for all the games + links to that page for each.

Otherwise I'd shoot off an email to the big N.

I've had the same problem for a month or two now. Card worked fine from launch until recently, now it won't work on either Switch. Frustrating, but I hate calling NOA (never really helped me) so I just use it as a deterrent from impulse purchases I guess...

It's sooooo frustrating, I want to do in game purchases rather than buy a game and I don't think you can purchase them through the websites

what card are you talking about - credit card? call the credit card bank - maybe they froze your account due to unusual activity - happened to me a lot when buying games online outside of Germany. One 5min call and it worked again.

same problem too. i had to buy a eshop pre-paid card on playasia just buy Kirby 64 on Wii U VC.

Tried multiple credit cards and non of them work yet I can still use them for buying things besides anything off the eshop

Please verify the information that you have entered.

Arrrgh. I've used this card many times on the eShop. Suppose I'll have to get some prepaid cards instead.

I had the problem myself. My user was not registered 18 y/o but I created a new user and it worked
