Topic: Does my Switch suffer from corrosion?

Dear people,

My Switch works fine (apart from joy-con drift) but I did notice something a couple of times, the screws of my Switch seem to have corrosion. The thing is, I always store my Switch in the plastic bag it originally came in (when I took the Switch out of the box it was in a small plastic bag). I always put it pretty tight in the bag, so no dust can get in. But now I fear my Switch gets moisty, and it can't breath. However, my Switch never feels wet. Is this a problem? If my screws get corrosion maybe there's also corrosion in the system. I hope not! Thanks in advance for the answers!

I'd guess it's possible that being in the bag, especially if in a humid environment, could cause rust. If you wanna store it in a bag, maybe add a desiccant to adsorb moisture. If the rust is only on outer screws, maybe it could be from body-related oils / moister from playing.

In my opinion, you may wanna just get a zippered protective / travel case to keep it in and keep dust off.

Thanks for the answer. I was thinking myself of a piece of water-absorbing kitchen paper. The enviroment isn't humid, but I do have very sweaty hands. The screw underneath the kickstand also has this corrosion kind of stuff. My 3DS and Wii u gamepad are in a more foamy bag, wich may breath a bit more. However, my original DS is in a tight plastic bag too, and I never had problems.
