Topic: Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny Coming Exclusively to Switch Next Summer

Has anyone finished Disgaea 6? Would you recommend it and was the frame rate as bad as some reviews suggest.

I have not even finished disgaea 1 yet...

It's a turn based strategy RPG, who cares about the frame rate? It's not like it makes one iota of difference to the gameplay.

@zool Graphics mode looks the best, but is unplayably bad framerate-wise. The hub literally runs in the single-digits.

Performance mode is the inverse: much higher framerate, but the dynamic resolution is terrible.

Balanced is probably the best mode to play in, since it just averages it out to make it visually passable and much more stable performance-wise. Perfectly playable, even if there's no reason the game shouldn't run better.

It's fun enough. It's Disgaea, after all. Have you played one of these games before?

EDIT: Should probably mention I haven't played this in months, so it's always possible performance was boosted with a patch or something.
