Topic: Complete list of all demos available on EU and US eShops?

Hello,

does anyone know where can I find up-to-date list of all demo versions for Nintendo Switch games separated into EU and US eshops? Since some demos are apparently only available in one or othe other shop.

I am building my own (automated) lists but noticed it missing some games - notably Pikmin 4 Demo so I am looking for something to be able to cross-check that.

I currently have 730 EU demos and 450 US demos. I am trying to exclude "shovelware" which might also influence the final numbers.

Yeah I found this, but it seems to show just "featured" demos. I only see 24 demos unless I missed something obvious.

You can also go into whichever version of the eshop on the Switch itself. Demos is one of 4 options under search. As long as you have both a EU and US profile you can look at each. There are apparently 785 US demos right now. How many are shovelware, I can't say although I did try a demo a while back that literally breaks after about 2 minutes. 😝 I've played a decent chunk of all the demos (maybe half) because I usually just browse the new ones and try them out.

You can also search the demos by genre that way although the eshop is laggy of course.

The official Nintendo website does have a similar list ... but for some reason it only lists 527 games rather than 785 and the two lists don't have the same sorting options so I can't easily find which games are missing:

Dekudeals and filter to incude demos

It confuses me that for US, dekudeals claims there are 859 demos, the Switch eshop claims 785, and the Nintendo website 527. Clearly 2 or possibly all 3 of these are wrong. The Nintendo Everything list has 827. 😝 Apparently counting is impossible.

The Nintendo Everything list includes at least some demos which don't exist anymore (such as balan wonderworld) so that explains part of the difference. Deku must be over-counting too somehow. Ok, deku lists games as US eshop with demos if they exist in the US eshop but only have demos in Japan eshop... Also they list some games which used to exist but no longer exist. Still no clue why the actual Nintendo website number is so small, but I am assuming the eshop list is the correct one.

@FishyS I am just looking into the US lists from Nintendo Everything. Either lots of demos got removed from US eShop or they mistakenly list games that have EU eShop demos as having them as well. For example Blasphemous has EU demo, but not US and yet is listed as having a demo.
