I received NBA2K21 as a Christmas gift. Put it in the first time today and it had an update that took forever. I thought it would have updated the rosters to reflect the current rosters, but didn't. The rosters are the same as they were at the end of the last NBA season. It also gives me an error message now that it can't connect to the NBA2K server. Has anyone else had this issue?
@carolinaguy74 Maybe someone else may have a better answer, but in the past week, someone posted a Switch error code here, because they couldn't connect to eshop. Turns out the error code = servers were bogged down with with traffic, and wouldn't let them connect. I'm not saying this is definitely your issue, but it is the day after christmas, I'd say that could be the reason. Might be a matter trying again later, possibly off peak hours.
