Topic: Calculator

I think it would be nice if they would open up an app store on the Switch and have a graphing calculator app. I don't know how many times I've been playing my Switch and need to crunch some numbers and have to go try and find where my calculator is hiding. Did anyone have Super Mario on their TI 83 or 89 back in the day? It would be like coming full circle wouldn't it? Kids today probably don't understand though.

I actually had a T83... mighta been 86. But i put a mario game on it. And Snake game also. Wow the memories!

@Samus7Killer I think mine was a 83 Plus. The 86 or 89 was the one to get for some games if I remember. We had smart calculators before smart phones.

Possibly the last feature a game console (let alone the Switch) needs. If you can't be bothered to use your smartphone or at least keep a calculator near you if you think you'll need it while playing a game, that's your prob. This thread deserves a Zoidberging.

@DTMOF84 yeah they were so cool too. And expensive as well. Went great with my Gameboy Color.
Switch could use a Nintendo App store. A calculator and Alarm Clark would be cool. Hell, the DS has a Mario Alarm Clock.

I do think the Switch should have some non-gaming apps. Maybe not a calculator because that's not particularly related to gaming, but adding internet apps, social media apps, and streaming apps could really benefit it.

@DTMOF84 I'd download a Mario Calculator. Gimmie an alarm also. Switch needs some charm that's for sure.

The home screen is severely lacking some substance. I find myself just browsing through the settings and eShop a lot for something to do.

Have you tried playing any games? I've heard Switch isn't bad in that respect.

@gcunit I might have to give that a try. Thanks for your input. Do you have any suggestions as what I should try? I was really into System Settings for a while but it got old.

Profile settings are pretty fun. I got almost 100 hours in that alone.

I was blown away on the part where you can change the console nickname. Say what?!

Test Input Devices is the best make your own rhythm game ever invented. Has 2 modes: Controller buttons and Touch Screen. Me and my fwends had tournaments playin this for weeks while drinking and smoking.

Switch needs these Apps :
Youtube, Netflix, Google, Instagram, Calculator, Music (MP3), Video (MP4 / AVI), Notes, Picture ( JPEG / PNG).

Switch also needs these :
More colorful theme, Music theme, Folders to organise Games icons, More SFX.

@Anti-Matter I would ask for a calendar too.

@Samus7Killer oh you know just basic stuff. If I work overtime tonight for this many hours I will make this much money type of thing.

@DTMOF84 i would approve of that then. makes sense and would be convenient like my Alarm idea. Note taking app and a calendar would also be ideal.

@Samus7Killer could you imagine how organized you could be? I would ditch my smart phone until they come out with the paid online and I needed my phone to voice chat.
