@Heavyarms55 You're not wrong. They are insanely uncommon. All the ones I got were indeed from balloons.

I think I ended up getting everything for the mermaid set too - I got duplicates of the mermaid dresses so that's probably it. I'm not a big fan of the balloons either. It would be so much smoother if you could catch your villagers making the seasonal DIYs, rather than the same stuff that you and everyone else knows already.

@MarioLover92 I don't mind the balloons as an option. The whole idea seems like it's supposed to be a rare thing. Every now and then a balloon floats by with a gift. It's whimsical and fancy and suits the light hearted nature of this game.

However locking seasonal DIY items behind this mechanic that is already so sparse doesn't make sense. Like you said, why don't villagers give them out? It would make total sense for them to do that! The holiday is coming up, of course they'd make things related to it! They talk about the season and up coming events, so why not the DIYs? I don't know what they were thinking with this choice.

@Heavyarms55 I should've explained my thoughts of the balloons better, lol. But I 100% agree with you. I only meant that I don't care for how the seasonal DIYs are an exclusive item to the balloons - that makes getting DIYs a drag. Other than that, I definitely enjoy getting rewarded with stuff by popping them at just the right spot. They are there for a reason, after all. What if I get something I end up really liking? It might not be that DIY to fill out my catalog, but I just might get something cool or a nice amount of bells.

On the topic of balloons, I actually got the same item back to back today. I would like to know the odds of that happening.

I will testing about Turkey Day items and event exploit by Time Travelling after reached 1 December 2020 on actual date.
I heard from leaked news there were so many exclusive items during Turkey Day.
Not to mention to re-experience again with Turkey Day anytime after 26 November 2020 because currently i'm busy with my other games and my calendar 2021 projects.

I’m fine. Like I said, only searching for cherry blossom diys and art at the moment, so we’re good if you don’t have any of them. Although I think I’m missing the cardboard table?!

I heard yesterday that the turkey day diys are only obtained through the cooking, so no balloons involved, for all the damaged among us (including me).
