Has anyone else not seen Wisp in like a month? Don't necessarily miss him as I've already helped him enough to get all the Nook Miles rewards, it's just odd. It's like he's ghosting me.
Same here. Just came to my mind yesterday evening. Especially strange for me, since he appeared often three times a week.
Guys, I just ran into a glitch today. I was in the middle of using the Island Designer app to change up my island a bit, and along the way I got an item from a balloon. I was running out of space (I got a ton of turnips today), so I wanted to put some stuff into my house storage. I entered my house with the construction gear on, and guess what happened? The game softlocked. It zoomed into my house as normal, but the game just wouldn't transition and just sat there. I had to restart the game as a result. Thankfully, my save data was a-okay.
Hopefully Nintendo will patch it later on. For now, it's something for you guys to avoid. Don't ever enter any house/shop while you're using the Island Designer.

I have had it where I come out of my house or enter it, the game seems to lock up, then I just wait and it sorts itself out, and just carries on as normal.

@johnvboy Huh, I see. So it's really just a loading thing then. That was my first time bumping into that, so that's why I thought it was a softlock. Maybe that's an online connection thing?

This issue occurred to me too, but only once and not at my house but when entering Nooks. Don’t remember if the construction mode was activated but for me the game also stopped and I had to restart. Luckily there was an auto-save not far away.
It's only happened to me twice, and come to think about it, it was after I have developed my island outside, could be a loading issue with lots of items and custom paths outside, I watched a 900 hour island on YouTube a while ago, the game was struggling with the sheer amount of placed items, and there was a lot of pop in and a little slow down.
@johnvboy I see yeah. I was thinking of making Mario Kart and F-Zero tracks via custom designs on my island. It sounds like a very rare occurrence, so they shouldn't hinder the game too badly.

I was fine entering any buildings with Island Designer app being active.
My outfit back to normal when i tried to enter fitting room with helmet on it.
Even i sold the things on Nook Cranny, talking with Tom Nook with helmet on it.
Here's my Mario Kart track. I intend to put more stuff into it like the item blocks and more characters later down the road (no pun intended), but here's what I have right now. Let me know what you think
