Most of us tend to download the official Discord app to our phones and use that for in-game chat - the app lets you chat with either text or voice (or both at the same time) ..whichever works best!

I've got two girls here myself.
I wouldn't worry too much about voice chat. We tend to do a lot of text chat in Discord during games.
Voice chat for me personally probably wouldn't me much of an advantage since my spoken English has to be beyond terrible since I don't have anyone here that I ever talk to in English.
Not to mention I'm a bit shy...although people might laugh at that part.

I'm pretty shy in voice chat myself too so I really understand what you mean. Maybe we should practice our English together with discord lol. I'm Dutch so English isnt my native language either.
@Laura11 one of the reasons I joined our discord group was to work on my english. I was also a bit hesitant to join the voice chat because of bad past experiences but we're all adults here having a good time

We were actually laughing about it last week in the Discord that whenever someone new would join there the first thing they might see are cat pictures and talk about obscure Japanese games from at least 20 years ago. hehe

@Laura11 It used to be really easy with imgur, but there seems to be a software bug in the forum which makes those no longer show up.
I've signed up to https://postimages.org, which is free as well.
Once you uploaded your picture, click on the share button over it and you'll get a bunch of options. Pick the second to last one there, which should look a bit like this, but without the :
[*url=https://postimages.org/][*img]https://s20.postimg.cc/wdckgjs5p/str75_Ml.gif[/img][/url*]
Remove the url parts so it looks like this, but without the :
Correct on both accounts, he is definitely the clown of the three cats and always getting himself into trouble. Only when no other people are visiting though (that's when he hides away until everyone else leaves).
Still need to give him a proper brushing of his fur (if he will let me).
