As long as the USPS doesn't lose my package, this one should be in my hands early next week. At a glance the game reminds me of the Cladun series. (Hopefully NIS America bring all three Cladun games to Switch in one of those NIS Classics collections sometime down the road.) A top-down action/rpg at its core, but MHSG lets you craft your own spells. I dunno, this could be pretty cool; it feels like it could be a 7/10 experience.

Kind of feels bad for Switch collectors late to the party though, this is one of those Strictly Limited releases that sold through.

I've played this, have a digital copy (didn't know it had a physical release until recently). I like this game, it's a roguelike, or a roguelite as there isn't permadeath IIRC. Areas are randomly generated, with some story stuff after each boss. Also, I really like the art to this, both the drawn art for story scenes, and the pixel styled art.

I remember the spell system worked by typing spells out, and simply naming them. For example, any fire related words would make a fire spell. Brings back a fond memory I had with my nephew, we just kept trying different words to see what the results were. Good times.

Hope you enjoy the game when it comes, this is one of those games I don't see talked about much.

The resident Trolls superfan! Saw Trolls Band Together via early access and absolutely loved it!
