Topic: Where is the BOTW like case deal?

Could use some help so please read in full. I got the Special collection edition of Breath of The Wild at launch with my switch in 2017 and it was a great deal because I got an amazing case for my switch that kept it safe. (Although it didn't hold games well and I lost some.)

I am wondering why isn't there an amazing case available or a special edition where we could have gotten a quality case like we did with BOTW.

Why isn't there a case as a bonus with a game at launch?

Well, I guess that's just too nice of a perk and I'll have to get a case because the NS2 won't fit in my BOTW case. Did anyone get a partial case they loved for their switch, like a partial brand or very cool case that did a good job keeping your system safe and portable? I would like any suggestions because the official Nintendo one is so lame. It will be hard to downgrade from Rubber shiekah slate to black bag.

Any help would be appreciated, as searches now provide a lot of garbage ai hallucinations. Thanks!

Maybe if Breath of the Wild were a top ten Switch game, it would be deserving of a special edition.

This brand has a few different products with different designs on them. I used cloudy marble, but there’s a lot of options for a lot of tastes. It’s also very sturdy. I would much rather drop the Switch in this case than a typical basic rubber one. I respect it if you were looking for something more Switch or Nintendo looking, though.

Also, these are third party Switch and OLED cases. I haven’t found much yet for third party Switch 2 cases, but surely they’ll pick up the slack in the months following release.

Just wait past the launch period. Hori and Power A make cases like water. There will be many zelda cases to choose from soon.

The irony is the Switch 2 was leaked by case manufacturers.

Although in my experience real rubber does much better than plastic and felt.

@Misima You might be right about that! My case before my current one was very weak and flimsy and made of some kind of rubbery material. That might have just been that particular case, though. I’ll keep that in mind when I’m looking for my Switch 2 case!

@KidSparta I noticed that a few years back rubber was replaced by everyone with a rubber like plastic that sucks. I had an LG phone I had an OtterBox case and the case felt good and was rubbery and bounced if dropped. Now an OtterBox feels like ***** to hold. Doesn't bounce and is terrible. But it's cheaper so they don't care. Mind you they didn't lower the price either. The world just keeps getting worse.
