Hi guys. I got my Virtual Boy from Nintendo Today (Yay) for my Switch 2 for the release of Virtual Boy tomorrow. Thing is, on the Nintendo eShop page for the Virtual Boy, it says that it has been "Untested" for Switch 2. Has anyone seen this? I kinda find it strange that Nintendo hasn't tested it yet, but the actual Virtual Boy device is supposed to be compatible with the Switch 2. Thoughts on this?

Update: Hmm, I guess eShop page has since been updated. Nevermind then
Looking forward to tomorrow!

Yes, that looks like weird little oversight with the listing on Nintendo's part there.

Obviously, they've shown it in use with an actual Switch 2, so it will have been thoroughly tested.

I got mine in the mail today also, both the replica and the cheaper model that doesn't require a stand.

I have the entire VB library on my modded 3DS which play in glasses-free 3D, and I maintain that will likely remain the best way to experience them. But I have used an authentic Virtual Boy before. Back as a kid I went to someone's house who had one. There's something to be said for the genuine "VR-like" experience, even if it's not as pick up and play like glasses-free 3D (why VB never officially released on 3DS is beyond me- thank goodness that system was hacked).

WarioLand is good and Vertical Force is good. Vertical Force is a top down shmup where one button shoots and the other toggles you between the higher and lower levels, which adds strategy as some ships are in foreground while others are in the background.
