Topic: Madden 26

This is a spot to discuss this game.

So far after four hours of playing, I absolutely hate it. I haven't played a Madden since the Wii version, I used to play 2k football and loved it. And I have to say this is one of the most frustrating games I have played.

I am going through tutorials to try and get the hang of it and despite it being the same concepts as the games I played nearly 20 years ago, it just doesn't seem to want to work period. The input lag is immense, nearing a full second on some actions. Buttons combos done as told don't seem to do anything. There's no real leading capabilities. I feel fleeced after deciding to purchase only because my personal team has never been better in my lifetime.

I should have continued my stance on both there being no physical release and EA being a horrible company that doesn't deserve money.

I like to hear any thoughts anyone has, but right now an early impression for me is a bad 4/10.

@Misima Honestly Madden hasn't been good since the PS2 Era the best being 05 in my opinion. Its just the engine that EA insists on using that makes the games so bad. If you are looking for a better football game I suggest Mutant Football League.

I played all day and couldn't get a sack with the best de in the league. I asked for a refund , I hope I get it. This was the least fun football game I have ever played.

@Tasuki I haven't had fun with any sports games in forever. Last fun football game was the ESPN 2k game. Hockey was on 360. Golf was on GameCube.

I don't get it.

I don’t play a lot of sports games but the last one I bought is college football 25 on Xbox. I’m going to pass on madden 26

I came into this thread expecting negative comments and got exactly what I expected. So expensive though for a minimum effort port. These sort of games are very anti-consumer I feel and destroy trust between publisher and customer.
