The chaps over at VGC have posted a new gameplay video of Mega Man: Dual Override running on the Switch 2, and it's looking awesome.

Having played a demo at Gamescom, VGC managed to experience three stages from the game, confirming that players can choose different power-ups to make the game easier or more difficult, depending on your preferences.

So while there are elements that appear to make the game more approachable to newcomers, Capcom seems to be keen to appeal to more hardcore fans who grew up with the original NES titles.

The gameplay ends with a boss encounter with the newly-announced Twinkle Girl, who appears to be just one of many new Robot Masters waiting to be neutralised by Mega Man.

The new trailer for Dual Override also featured a very brief look at Proto Man, who makes a return in the new entry. It's currently scheduled to launch in 2027 for the Switch and Switch 2, and we simply can't wait to see more.
