All I hope is that the whole game is on the cartridge!

This is a dream come true for me! I LOVE Elden Ring!!!

Playing it again on the Switch 2 will be awesome!

Very cool.

Elden Ring is one of Bandai Namco's all-time best selling games (33m and counting), we knew it was coming to Switch 2. Just going to go ahead a put the title track on repeat.

Switch Physical Collection - 1,604 games (as of August 25th, 2026)
Switch 2 Physical Collection - 4 games (as of December 8th, 2025)

Played it to death on my PS5. It's an awesome game, but unless it has new content I'll probably pass.

I just read on CD Project Red page that Cyberpunk 2077 will be available on 64GB cartridge or digital download. So it will be the full game on the Switch 2 Cartridge.

I hope that more and more 3rd party releases will be like that instead of the stupid key-cards.

I wonder how much CDPR will ask? Main game + Phantom Liberty on a 64GB cartridge?

$90 would be my guess.

Has anyone preloaded the game yet? I want to know how much space it takes up, EU eShop says it's 41 GB but that's an estimated file size, I want to know an exact number

@Sylamp it’s still listed at 50 GB in the website via the Nintendo app and the USA eshop so am guessing that is ballpark - 41-50 GB. I am absolutely getting this but already preordered Orbitals and Fire Emblem so will have to wait a bit since these are all coming at the same time and it might go on sale by the time I finish my first run through those two. If it were full game on cart instead of GKC I might have preordered but since I have to download it no matter what and there’s no danger of it selling out I think I can wait. I had to wait for The Hundred Line Last Defense Academy to show up at my library because it sold out of physical cartridges at stores and I didn’t want to buy digitally or special edition for double price on eBay.
