So who's excited about the announcement!? I know it was leaked a few months back but it's nice to have it confirmed! I've always loved this series going all the way back to the Nes trilogy!
Hell yes! It's Ninja time!

Cool! I'm really glad that I missed out on the Wii U version, then. It was the first game to game an R18+ rating upon its introduction in Australia (and Nintendo was the applicant!) but they never issued a physical release here, bizarrely enough. I did consider importing, but this is WAY better (provided that everything is on the cartridge, otherwise I'm skipping this).
It's also nice to FINALLY have a non musou game from Tecmo Koei. Would it kill them to bring Dead or Alive V over as well? It was the one game that I almost considered grabbing a cheap PS3 for (I didn't have a gaming PC at the time).
"Gee, that's really persuasive. Do you have any actual points to make other than to essentially say 'me Tarzan, physical bad, digital good'?"
Alot of people gave the third one crap but they are likely confusing it with the vanilla release which actually was crap. Razor's edge is what the original release should have been.
I kinda feel the same about Arkham origins. It catches hell that it really doesn't deserve.
Oh and don't worry about Nintendo censoring. Razors edge on wii U was bloody and gory as you would hope from this series and the enemies even drop F bombs while being sliced and diced!
I haven’t beaten sigma 2 yet so I’m super excited for this!

@Zeldafan79 Yeah Arkham Origins is a lot better than people would like to admint, the boss fights are great. The thing is people wanted to ***** on it as it wasn't made by the same team as the orginal, however when they did make another game it was Arkham Knight with the forced use of the largely rubbish Batmobile and a plot twist you saw coming before you even played the game.
@jump
Yeah i really didn't get it. The game felt pretty on point to me even with a different developer. You could tell they still tried to make it as close to the established arkham formula as possible. Just because Rocksteady didn't develop it everybody had already made up their minds to hate on it even before release.

If anyone finds out IF all 3 games will be on the cartridge please post it here
@jump Arkham Origins was awesome! As for the plot twist you are talking about I actually blame the movie Under the Red Hood. As it is the same thing happening in the game and it came 3 year before the game.
And the Batmobile was not that great indeed.
However if I am not mistaken Origins is NOT made by the same people that made the other 3 games. This is why I refer to them as the Trilogy AND the prequel.
@Zuljaras Under the Red Hood movie is based on a famous comic story and it was just lifted from the pages into movie. Most Batman fans saw the twist coming from the early trailers so the developers even lied and tried to tell people it wasn't Jason. I actually remember the speculation at the time and people were saying it's too obvious so it can't be Jason or why didn't they just use The Red Hood name.
I really wish they'd get working on a new Ninja gaiden though. It's not right that gamings most bad ass Ninja hasn't had his own new game since 2012. At least this will be the second time a Ninja gaiden trilogy came to a Nintendo system so that's pretty cool!
@jump
If they could do it justice without him and have it still be good I'd be up for it! I hope it would be less linear than the last two though. Maybe open world or something. Not sure if that would work for this series.

@SquidOnTheRise
Those will likely all end up in the Switch nes online thing anyway. The first one is on there at least.
The first two modern games are usually everyone's favorite. Sigma 2 and razors edge were pretty linear. Just go from point A to B beat up a few guys and repeat. The original is the best. It's got more exploration and the areas are slightly more open with multiple paths. These games are known for their extreme difficulty but there are different difficulty settings for those who just wanna relax and not be driven insane with it. It's not a button masher though. It really helps to learn the combos and get good. Once you can perform moves consistently you feel like a total bad ass!

I lost hope for any big title arriving on NSO, especially those not owned by Nintendo
To me Razors Edge was a button masher, the combos input needed to be executed so fast i couldnt really tell what was happening so i felt it didnt matter what button i pressed. Bayonetta 2 felt way better in that regard.
