A lot of people have been conflicted about the character updates to Kirby Star Allies, claiming that the game is short enough as is and they would rather have new levels instead of characters.
Well, apparently Nintendo thought that as well as with the addition of Kirby 64's Adeleine, we also get new stages based off of levels from Kirby 64. Not many details have been given, however, they have stated that Adeleines Guest Star mode will have stages (Multiple) based on Kirby 64 levels. This is great news for those wanting to take the new DLC characters for a test run.
Nintendo hasn't mentioned Dark Metaknight or Daroach getting new stages in their guest star modes, but we can only hope they get the same treatment. Also, Nintendo stated that along with the new DLC characters the second update "Also introduces plenty of new game elements". Only time will tell what they mean by that.
With the introduction of Dark Metaknight, I wish there was an added game mode like Kirby and the Amazing Mirror. Where you could explore a sort-of open world and tackle different areas and bosses you discover.
