Topic: Won't let me change my user name or Mii on Nintendo switch

I recently got a new Nintendo switch everything was going good until, I tried transferring data to one of my siblings account, so now it won't let me change my mii on my second switch. Anytime I'll try a question mark will appear that reads "No Mii characters found." Weird, right? So I'll go to change the Mii, and I'll save it as the chosen Mii then it will IMMEDIATELY change back to the original one. However, it would only let me change it on my other switch (the account I transferred my data to). I now deleted that account thinking that would somehow work. I even deleted the Mii it was stuck on, and that didn't even work. it still shows the Mii I deleted. Does anyone know what causes this or how to help this? Thank you.

@Jamalball If you have your account on more than one console, I think mii editing can only be done with your "primary" console. When your account is on multiple consoles, they have to sycn saves across the conosles. One console is the primary, all other consoles with the same nintendo account are non-primary consoles (nintendo support has directions for multiple consoles). The Switch system is designed so you can play docked on the TV, turn that off, then pick up your Switch Lite to continue playing the same game on-the-go.

If this doesn't match up with your problem, there has been a bug where mii edits won't take. Nintendo support has revealed a way to clear that error; If you press an analog stick in AND press + button (hold them both pressed at the same time on the mii edit page) it should trigger a cartoonish bubble pop sound effect. After that, mii edits should stick.

If none of that works, then you've got something else going on with your account/multiple consoles, and you need Nintendo support help. Believe it or not, Nintendo of America has great support. I've used them 4+ times.

Also note, if you search nintendo support first, you can find solutions/directions for almost everything. Seriously, it's really good. If you search there first, you'll likely never need to ask a forum for help.

@WoomyNNYes I did try holding the L and + like a million times lol. I did hear the popping noise when I hit the "okay" button it shows the Mii, I selected but as soon as I back out of it the Mii I deleted on both switches is still there. I also deleted my account on the other switch and it still didn't work. What I don't understand about this I was able to change my mii untill my sister changed the name on the 1st switch. Anyways, thanks for your help I will try Nintendo support when I get the chance.
