My Sega Saturn is having trouble reading discs.ill explain.Every time i put in a Sega Saturn game (e.g Daytona usa) it says "Drive Empty" then i did it with a different game " Drive Empty" can anyone tell me whats wrong with it? and ill probably need to fix it as well.I need help fast.

Sorry for the late reply. Did you buy your Saturn new (way back when) or used? Does it happen with every Saturn game CD? What about music CDs?
It sounds like your disc reader could be damaged. It could be something else, I'm not sure. Try wiping the inside of the disc tray with a dry cloth, going gently over the reading lens where it emits the laser.
If wiping it doesn't work, you may have to send it in for repairs. :/ I don't think Sega supports its old consoles anymore, so you'll have to find a store which can repair it for you. If it's just the disc reader, they could possibly replace it with a normal CD reading laser and it would work. I can't guarantee that because I've never tried repairing any console though.
Thanks for the infomation its a new saturn i bought from a car boot sale.but i done everything with my saturn and nothing is working and there is not much point buying another one because you might get the same problem.ireland doesnt know much about consoles.Thanks for the help though it was useful.
