I definitely think that it's a good feature. Realistically, most people won't even notice it, as is often the case with block features and I think we've all seen some variation of "They have me on ignore but . . . . ." on the forums from time to time which is just unnecessary and unproductive.

Why do you want to see posts from people that have you ignored anyway? You can’t engage with them since they don’t see your posts. And it keeps peace (both personal and public) and a public forum doesn’t mean that one is obligated to engage with others of they don’t want to. Just like no one is obligated to read what someone posts. However some people can’t move on and they will start a one-sided fight for no reason (some people find being ignored offensive I guess). It’s really better for all involved this way. And if you are being ignored because you upset someone they should be able to remove themselves from your notice without issue. Frankly people often take things too far (not saying you are) and go after others because they feel they can, making things unpleasant for everyone. Boundaries should be respected and allowed.

Right? That guy like "it my rights!!" what a crazy take. Does that person see two people talking in a public place and just run over, listen in on the conversation and demand he be included "well you're talking in a public place it's my right to be included". Just an absolute looney tune.

Life to the living, death to the dead.
