Hey so I have my current NNID account linked to my Nintendo 3DS and I wanted to change my region but I know you can’t do that so I want to delete that account and create a new one with the region I want. I know that you lose everything related to the account including funds, etc. (this is not a problem). But I wanted to know if I will lose my saved games data or that data is saved within the system?

I know some games are region specific, like japanese games need japanese region 3ds consoles. But I'm not sure changing your 3ds region is so restricted. Granted, I don't know what region you want to change to. But I think you can change from north america to south america. Have you tried talking to nintendo? If it can be done, and keep your save data, nintendo phone support will know and they can help walk you through it.

Maybe someone else will know on here? Sometimes tech questions don't get much attention here. If you haven't tried nintendo, that could be a faster & more trustworthy path to an answer or solution.
