Topic: Charger

So I'm ordering my 3DS XL from the UK and it doesn't come with a charger, so I was thinking could I buy a starter kit, get the 3DS USB out of that and use my iPad adapter for the USB? Is this possible?

You mean one of the AC adapters with a USB port on it? If there's a 3DS to USB adapter, that would work.

What I mean is the thing you plug into the power point, so yeah get my iPad adapter and plug it into the PowerPoint than get a 3DS USB and plug that into the adapter, is this possible?

right? If so, if you had a cord that plugs into the 3DS and had a USB plug on the other end then yes, it would work.

^I wouldn't risk... look into the energy output to see if it's the same as the 3DS needs before trying...

Doesn't the 3DS XL use the same DSi charger the normal 3DS uses? You could probably just get a DSi charger for pretty cheap.

Yes it does. My friend who had a DSi last year was able to successfully use my 3DS Charger to charge his DSi.
