Topic: Change user in the NSO app

Does anyone know how to change user in the Nintendo app? I logged on and it shows my Japan account as default user, which I don’t have the online service for. I really only wanna use it for the splatoon part and I can’t do that unless I can switch user to my main
For clarity, both users are on the same account so I can’t logout and login to fix it

@Takomaki Your NSO subscription is tied to your nintendo account & email address. It doesn't matter if you change your account/eshop region. Your NSO subscription access follows you regardless of changing your eshop region.

Eshop region is determined in one place only, the region you have selected in your nintendo account on nintendo's website. (changing the region on your switch console has no effect on your account & eshop region. Disregard if you already know that bit. It's just a common mistake.)

When you initially sign into your NSO app, you login with your nintendo account, and that account has a specific email address, which dictates which splatoon game save profile you will access when you open Splatnet 2 or 3 on the NSO app.

If your splatoon save profile was created via family/child account which didn't require a new email address, I'm not sure what you do. If that's your scenario, and you're stuck, you need to contact nintendo support. *Unless someone else here knows this scenario, but I have a feeling you might not get an answer here.

If you put Splatoon 2 or Splatoon 3 in your post title, you might get better attention, but I think there's a low chance someone else here knows your scenario. Just trying to save you from waiting forever.
