Topic: Balance board not working

After a long period of no use I dug out our balance board, however every set of batteries I try the wii says they need changing immediately.

The board sync's no problem and all of the battery terminals are clean. The voltage of the batteries measures a smidgen over 6v.

Ended up borrowing another balance board which worked perfectly with the same batteries.

Anyone else had the same problem?

It came out almost 15 years ago, maybe the battery terminals are corroded? You can try wiping them with lemon juice to clean it.
