Topic: Your Favorite Dream

As the title says, just tell us about your favorite dream that you remember.

Mine would have to be the one where I was a kid in a grocery store, a robot, and a girl, all in the same night. When I was the kid, I was just your average 10 year lost in a big, dark foreboding grocery store, whose only light was that of the freezers. Now, I can see why I'd have a dream like that, since I used to get lost in the grocery store a lot as a kid, and it was scary since I never knew if I was gonna find my mom again or if she was gonna leave without me.

As the robot, I was being chased around on this big hill by some government-types, and all the while I'm dropping these bombs on the ground. When I finally get away from them and get off the hill, I set off all the bombs at once and blow up the entire hill in a big, fiery explosion! It was wicked!

Then after that my mind immediately switched to the girl who had apparently been out all night doing something, and she's trying to sneak into her room without waking anybody. Of course, right when she gets to her room and starts getting ready, my dog woke me up, so I never got to see the conclusion to that.

And that was my dream. Now what's yours?

I don't have dreams of my own. I steal them from the minds of innocent kids....

One that inspired a short story I'm in the process of writing. Up until then, my dreams haven't done one thing for me!

Dreams r weird, man...

A few years back I began this little experiment... Before I went to sleep I would say to myself that I was going to fly in my dreams. Over and over again. Until I fell asleep.

It was a tricky thing to do, because in my dreams I needed to remember that flying was on the agenda. And in most dreams you don’t have much control over what happens in them... unless you remember you’re in a dream. Problem is that as soon as you realize that you’re dreaming, the dream begins to fade and in most cases you wake up. It happens almost every time. You could be in a particular situation and as soon as you realize that you’re dreaming POOF, you wake up.

In order to fly, I needed to remember that I wanted to do it. And once I remembered that, I had to fly right away. This way I could influence the dream to adopt this new situation where I was, y’know... flying in the sky like a freakin’ bird. But if I took too long to take action (after I realized that I was dreaming), I would wake up.

With enough practice, I could fly whenever I wanted in my dreams. It was sorta like playing a videogame where you could activate a jump or flying cheat. I actually had a series of dreams where flying was a like second nature to me.

Eventually and like almost everything else in life... flying got old.

Favourite dreams have to be the one where I'm exploring a massive sky castle collecting stars and jiggies. The other was a never ending roller-coaster ride through a futuristic jungle city type thing. And my all time fave, is a recurring dream I have had since I was little, a massive adventure with my Father, pitting us against prehistoric monsters and stuff. It always starts the same, on a specific street from my childhood, we are walking along and suddenly the pavement beneath our feet begins to give way and we fall.... into dinoland!!!

Hmm... favorite dream, I don't know if I have a fav, I have had some awsome dreams though. I do have least favorite dream though.

I sometimes have a dream im bouncing on a billion trampolines.

My favorite dream was when my friends and I were all lame super heroes, and we had to save are town from a Giant Potato Monster. It was so cool!

My dreams either range from the perverted to the disturbing (most of my nightmares seem to revolve around a theme of suicide).

I really had a dream last night I had a HDTV.....no joke.

I could actually see it....and I woke up....and yeah.
Back to crappy life.

I usually forget most of my dreams within a week, but there was this one recently that really just blew me away! I was in a generic house sitting and chatting with generic people. Then I hear a guy from outside say "Quick guys! You have to come see this!". So naturally, everyone went running out the door. We stood there on the street in a generic neighborhood. All the houses were empty because now everyone was outside. We all looked up at the sky. All we saw was a sunset, but it was an amazing sunset! Colors like pink, orange, yellow and red vibrantly filled the sky. Then I said "That is an amazing firey sunset!" All the sudden, the edges of the clouds started burning, and I find it difficult to describe but the sky was on fire! It was strange, because no one got scared. In fact seeing the sky set ablaze as the clouds vigoursly burn just put everyone in awe. Everyone was at peace. It wasn't the most exciting dream I ever had, but the images my mind produced just looked amazing.

My favorite dreams have to be when suddenly, the girl ive been nuts about for the past 6 years suddenly realizes her boyfriend is an idiot an falls for me... it sucks to wake up though

It's not really my favorite, but I remember a dream where a giant blue-ish mech-monster (think something from Zoids [if anybody remembers that anime/manga ]) was attacking a brown & dark brown city while I had the body and hair (and outrageous goggles ) of Tai (from Digimon) while standing at a street corner holding up a Digivice to the monster in a sorta-bad-a$$ fashion. It was a very weird day from there on out...

I remember a dream where i jumped off from a bridge and i was a bout to land on a huge butterfly. (like really huge!!) it was like i was falling from space and the butterfly was kinda like the surface of the earth! it was pretty cool but creepy at the same time.

I wonder if dreams have meanings and why do we dream?

I was in space, apparently with no helmet, and there was a supermarket on an asteroid. For a school project, we had to live our lives like hoboes, so I had to stay in a car with a hobo. But then, Shadow the Hedgehog destroyed the asteroid, but I escaped in a rocket headed to Dagobah. But, apparently, my school's on Dagobah.

I know, my dreams are beyond random

I dream in anime. No joke.

Favorite dream was teaming up with a few original and popular anime characters to take down a legion of supervillians led by a female with rather large boobs.

I wouldn't consider these to all be my "favorite" dreams, but these are some of the few I remember well (I usually forget them pretty quickly):

Recently I had a dream that someone I know was dead, except he was still talking and walking around because there was some special medicine that was keeping him alive, but he was technically dead and hardly knew what was going on.

I once had a dream where we all lived under the water and whales had taken over the world. But they weren't nice whales, and they were trying to kill us. Also they had weird force fields everywhere that would give us electric shocks. We also had to secretly swim past whales if we saw them. We were able to breathe under water though. But it was really scary. And yes, I suddenly thought about this dream shortly after that whale killed that trainer at sea world.

Then there was a dream that wasn't at all interesting other than the fact that I figured out it was a dream. It was shortly after the end of the school year that year, and my dream was that I was in school again. I realized that the school year was over, and I was like "This is a dream!!!!!" I remember everyone in the dream thinking I was crazy I think I woke up shortly after.

Finally, I had a dream where my friend had an evil plan to take over and destroy the world. All I remember is that she succeeded, but we somehow went back in time, and I experienced the entire dream again, up until the very end, in which I prevented her evil plan from succeeding.

Then there's the dreams I have due to being a teenage boy...
