Pretty much that is it. Plus I also had a GBA SP years ago stolen from me that had my first and last name written in permanent marker. When I saw it at Gamestop, which at the time was the only place to sell games in my town, and told them that it had been stolen off of me and even showing them my ID they refused to give it to me.

I think the $500 Game Stop Gift Card is a ploy and gimmick just to garner customers because as long as I've been going to GameStop I've NEVER won the thing nor have my older friends who shopped there a few years before I began shopping there.

The thing about it is it isn't just for THAT Gamestop. It's worldwide. ONE person, ONCE a month wins. The chances of it being you or a friend are negligible.

Well, I believe that if it wasn't real and that it is just a ploy to get customer reviews, I'm pretty sure that would be breaking some laws and make them liable to be sued. As for Gamestop as a whole, I don't buy any games from the used since the developers don't get any money from me buying used at Gamestop. I only buy my games new from there since the pre-order bonus usually is nice, plus for convienience.
