Topic: What game(s) will be covered by the Sonic 4 movie? (Spoilers for Sonic 3)

Just wondering what games people think will be covered in the Sonic the Hedgehog 4 movie, after the two end credits scenes. I think there's a few ways they could go so I'm interested to hear people's takes.

SPOILERS for all the SONIC Movies.

I personally think that Sonic Heroes might be possible inspiration.

I guess Sonic CD with some possible inspiration from Sonic Heroes (although they might save more of that for the 5th one if they want)

I want to see Metal in movie form, so hopefully Sonic CD. Time travel is always fun in movies too.

I have actually never played Sonic CD, so didn't know the plot - that sounds like it'd be perfect for the next movie TBH. Think time travel and stuff would open a lot of doors for the story, and make it stand out from the other three movies so far.

Then they could either do Sonic Adventure 1 with Chaos for hopefully a fifth movie, or Sonic Heroes with Neo Metal Sonic as the villain .
