Topic: Two Characters Forgotten?

This is such a sad time to all Daisy lovers out there. It has been noted that the new Super Mario Bros 3D World has came out with the exception of the Super Mario 2 Characters: Mario, Luigi, Peach, & Toad. But when they unleashed a 5th to be unlockable guess who that character is? Rosalina. Are you serious Nintendo? For 13 years since Daisy been in her first playable game in which none and I mean NOT ONE was a platformer you give a character 5 years in the Mario world one before her? What a slap to the face this is for Daisy. And me for one I'm ticked off about this as well. Has this became the start of Daisy being the #3 Princess? I surely can hope not. But not only Daisy is having such bad luck in the Mario World but let's recap the characters in Super Smash Bros. mentioned in the WII U and 3DS There's Mario, Link, Samus, DK, Fox, Kirby, Pikachu, Bowser, Peach, Marth, Sonic, well you guys get the list. But wait isn't there's someone else we forgot? Who are we... Oh... Yeah. WHERE IN THE HOLY SKIES OF THE SMASH BROS WORLD IS YOSHI?!?!?!?! You would think that being one of the most memorable main fighters in smash you would not be forgotten so easily. If all Mario chatacters were to be treated equally why is Daisy the one left out of that ruling? And if this actually goes through, how will Smash fans deal without Yoshi? As we look to 2014 we can only hope that These two beloved characters get more recognition goodness knows they deserve it.

I dunno... i have this feeling that maybe Nintendo hasn't revealed everything about 3D World just yet. Five playable characters is an odd number, perhaps there will be another unlockable? And there's a new "Yarn Yoshi" game in development for Wii U of course.

I think Smash fans will be fine without Yoshi. After all we are getting MEGAMAN!!!!

Daisy? Seriously?
Daisy's lame, and barely has backstory, if anything we should remember Pauline. Mario's 1st princess.
Do you actually think Yoshi will not be in Smash Bros?
He's more of an upcoming announcement to Sakurai, just so we can hype about him in whatever Nintendo Direct he will be announced in.

Look, I got nothing personal against Rosalina. But Daisy stuck by Mario and his friends longer.

@Medjaimonty: Yeah, exactly! Daisy's done tons of stuff by this point; comparatively Rosalina's been in hardly anything! Now's her chance to be in more games!

1. Have You forgot about Super Mario Land? And are you serious about Daisy being Lame? She doesn't get kidnapped and stands out more than Peach.
2. Do you think I don't want Yoshi to be in smash? Hey I simply love that green dinosaur Since Super Mario World 2., my only wish is that they would add Birdo in there as well. I'm just speaking af to what if on Yoshi. The guy's been the main on three Smash Games and this is the one time he drops out of the main 8 mentioned.
3. Sorry to tell you dude, but Nintendo nor its wikis didn't consider nor qualify Pauline as a Princess.

Daisy has never been an important character. She's just an alternate version of another character, like Waluigi and Toadette. The reason Rosalina was used instead of Daisy is because:

a) It makes more since for her to use the spin attack
b) The only Mario platformer that featured Daisy was Super Mario Land, where she was nothing more than a Peach clone.
c) Rosalina has a much larger fan following, Daisy is distinctly hated by many people

Smash Bros. isn't finished yet. Yoshi will appear when they have finished modeling and animating him.

Rosalina doesn't look generic like daisy does. I wish Rosalina would have been apart of a different franchises so we can see her character more often.

I like Daisy too, but this is flat out false.

1. No I remember SML well. Daisy is not much of a princess, and it would be weird to add Daisy, mostly because she hasn't been part of Mario's games in decades, and even then, it was leaded by Gunpei Yokoi rather than anyone else.
2. As I said earlier, he's merely hype for a future Nintendo Direct. As was Luigi and Sonic.
3. You're right, she's not a princess. However she must get some points for being Mario's first damsel. But I suppose it's only when Mario and DK head up against each other.

Seriously, the people over-reacting, actually thinking that Sakurai just suddenly stopped and decided "f**k Yoshi" is ridiculous.

Meh, Wario's better (and more interesting as a playable character) than either Rosalina, Daisy or Yoshi. We all know he should have been character five, right? Like Mario 64 DS!

@CM30: Wario's only asset is strength. Strength is never needed in 3D World. Also, Wario in a cat suit... my eyes.

If they include Daisy her special abillity would be screaming "HI IM DAISY" and everybody would explode
And of course she could also see everything with her 3rd eye
