If you could all help me out, I'm doing a bit of research into what gamers think would make a great TV show from games past and present, doesn't necessarily have to be Nintendo games it can be from any time and any era. Would love to get all your thoughts on titles and why it would make a good show.
For instance, they have recently turned Halo into a TV show, I think that the bringing Mario and Luigi back to life in a TV show would be amazing, they did it in the 90's imagine what they could do with it now!
I think Assassins Creed would be better served as a movie series/tv series than a game franchise because the story is off the rails now. The storyline they hinted at the beginning of the series has been buried under annual release bloat.

The wouldn't be my favourite games if they were worth making into TV shows or films, because they will forever be better simply as games.
Would you not want to explore the storylines in a linear way of tv rather than having to follow the story in snippets? I loved MGS: Guns of the Patriots game, but would love to see all those cut scenes brought to life in a tv show.
