I really dislike the new movie style Transformers. Truthfully, it makes me not really interested in watching Prime. After chatting with irken, I've been keeping busy by watching Beast Machines. I had missed it when it was originally on the air, its not ...unwatchable, but it seems like its quite a step back in effort when it comes to character animation when compared to Beast Wars. I do notice some of the designs from BM being carried onto later designs for Transformers in different series, but its definitely a step back from Beast Wars, though, to be fair, BW was my favorite Transformers series ever, yeeess!!

Tbh I have never seen BW. However I have seen quite a few different series of Transformers. I don't get why so many people hated animated. At first I was sceptical but then I really started to enjoy it. I may watch BW in the near future.

@thelawyer: That looked pretty good. Now, all you need is to make the pixel vehicle form and make an animated gif and you'd have an even better avatar! =)

So, stumbled across both the Bumblebee and Optimus Prime WFC figures earlier today at Target, so picked them up, they were only $10 each. ...I don't really buy toys anymore. When I do buy them, I mostly buy toys for collecting nowadays, the rare occasions that I do.
Here's my dilemma, should I open and play with these toys or are they destined to live out the rest of their existences like the good ol' prospector from Toy Story 2. I am curious how they transform and I haven't played with Transformers since Beast Wars. ...I respect you guys's opinions, so what would you do? Should I play with them (I'm almost 30) or leave em in the packaging forever?
Also, does anyone know when more WFC figures are coming?
