I'm a G1 fan and I'm really torn about War for Cybertron, I guess I don't know enough about it. I'm glad that it appears to be closer to G1 than the movies, but do any of you think it'll be fun? Is it going to be mainly about the multiplayer or will it have a large single player too. What are reasons you plan on getting it if you plan on getting it? I need some help to be pushed over the hump on this one.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.

The single player will be very impressive, because there are two separate story modes (one for Autobots and one for Decepticons). The multiplayer will have the ability to design your own custom transformer to play as. The artwork and scale of the game is very impressive as well, while the story will entertain the big G1 fans like myself
I haven't seen any changes made to the Wii version (other than the name change), but the DS versions are impressive looking. The PS3/360 versions would probably be the best choice to buy, but we will have to see about that once all of them are released.
New to the this forum. Huge G1 fan. What does everyone think of the robots in disguise series. I think its the funniest of all the shows. Also for story and early CG graphics beast wars was a GREAT series!
All these different forms that Optimus has are getting a little derivative. Math jokes FTW!
Sean Aaron ~ "The secret is out: I'm really an American cat-girl." Q: How many physicists does it take to change a light bulb? A: Two, one to hold the light bulb, the other to rotate the universe.
I'm so depressed about the name change of the Transformers game for the Wii. Totally put me off. I can play the PS3 version but I don't want to so much anymore... hard to explain. Huge G1 fan as well... used to wake up to watch it every day 20+ years ago..
So ends a saga older than time itself. The World's oldest and fiercest army has been led to victory, and a lost generation is delivered from its fear of extinction. As the sun sets over the field of conflict the dinosaurs disperse, hoping never to set foot in this place a...

Maybe that need to play will kick in when the game is released
You may be right. Btw, irken, are you sure there are no differences with the wii version?

@mnementh As far as I can tell, there are no differences other than those you pointed out. Then again, they haven't released video or screenshots of the Wii version

After a little research, I found out the Wii version is being made by Next Level Games, the same creators of Punch Out Wii and the Mario Strikers series http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Next_Level_Games
