So, has anyone else been getting the IDW Classic Transformers Trades? Right now they're up to 5 with the final trade coming either May or June. The final book will have the last eight or so issues of the Marvel US run, the four issue Headmasters mini series and the 3 issue Transformers: The Movie mini from the 80's.

The only problem is a few of the issues have Marvel characters like Spider-Man in them so they have to just recap the story, but other than that it's nice to be able to see the beginning to the end of the run. I always loved that it was supposed to just be a four issue mini series that took off and they kepot it going for 84 issues. The final issue has this at the top "#84 in a 4 issue limited Series".

Once Budinsky took over the writing ther stories all flowed together really well, in fact, I look at him with Transformers the way most see Larry Hama with GI Joe.

I dig the Bumblebee from the cover the most. I don't know why but he's always been my favorite character in the Transformers mythos. I still remember the day I went school clothes shopping with my mom and grandma and found him on the shelf, I have no idea how he ended up in my pocket that day....He now rests comfortably on my shelf alongside the other G-1 minicars (including BumbleJumper)

What about the Go-Bots? I liked Leader-1.

As far as we know, the characters seen in the trailer (Optimus, Megatron, Bumblebee, etc.) and the multiplayer exclusive Shockwave.
