Does being 40 feel any different than 30? Just curious.

And yes, he is (usually) always right, and he is (almost) the sexiest gamer out there (not counting me) ;)

@urrutiap I remember when my father turned 40, all his friends bought him joke gifts. He got all sorts of random old man stuff, most notably a cane. I was just a kid at the time but found it all hilarious.

Now I'm 28 and 40 doesn't seem so far away anymore.

Anyway, happy birthday dude! Remember, you're only as old as you feel!

I hit 41 just last may. I'm starting to get gray hairs on my face and age spots on my ankles. It's kinda freaking me out. As long as i can still work those controllers I'll keep on gaming though! People say I'm getting too old for this but hey i likes what i likes!

I hear gaming keeps your brain sharp and it's a good way to keep alzheimer's at bay.

@Zeldafan79 : I've had the odd grey hair (and now the odd one in my beard) since my early-mid 20s. I'm 31 now.

Fortunately my thick curly hair (mostly) disguises the odd whites.

Porygon did nothing wrong.

I have a few cousins who have had full white hair since before their forties. Like, I don’t remember ever seeing them with their original hair color.

@Zeldafan79 I feel like, as time goes on the perception of gaming being only for kids and young adults is going to fade. As the people who grew up with video games get old with them, the general perception of the hobby will shift. Imagine if sports were a relatively new thing that came out only a few decades ago, it would probably be regarded in a similar manner.

Oh right, I was here to lock the thread!

Let’s continue the celebration over at the Chit chat thread. We can't really have birthday threads for individual users, can we. That would be a mess.
