A home console would have Nintendo directly competing with PlayStation and Xbox again, which is not good for them as the Nintendo console would probably be weaker and be forced to use another Wii or Wii U style gimmick.
And a handheld is crossing paths with a hybrid console anyways, especially with the Switch Lite, so you'd might as well just make a hybrid at that point.

I’m not into Pikmin, Mother would be neutered whether it’s new or a worldwide remake, so I’ll go with F-Zero, even though I’m not particularly interested in that either. I’d rather have a new motion-controlled WarioWare.
