Ok, Negative threads may seem old..but C'mon, sometimes we wish Gen 6 did more.
It's not like we expect Gen 6 to be perfect, but sometimes you can feel like Making a topic like this.
I didn't make this to hate Gamefreak, but it kind of the topic where we talk about the Wasted potential of A Pokemon, Type, Pokeballs, Moves or Mechanic.
Here's mine: I'm quite dissapointed Of how Dunsparce has no improvement from Gen 1, other than Glare..i can't seem to find any other stuff that dunsparce does that other pokemon do better, No Mega Evoltuion, No Evolution or Better moves, Doesn't deserve to exist at all in my Opinion. Also, There is only 17 Mega evolutions,, And other Starters like Chickorita, Chimchar, Piplup, Vaporeon, Dunsparce, Umbreon, Leafeon or anything that is not one of the lucky 17 get nothing. Also having limited characters and inability to Text chat in trades, so they usually don't know what i want and give me crap! And Only getting 1 Legandary bird per Starter and No shiny charm or O-Power and Finally having to wait jor pay $5 just to transer some Pokemon for a program i'm not interested in. (Pokemon Bank)
So if you managed to be Chuck Norris and read it all or Skip it altogether (DIDN'T READ LOL?!). You can post your own dissapointments or you are satisfied and don't comment at all. Ready? 3,2,1!! GO!!!

not having the game yet, that's my only and biggest disappointment(I got to play 1 hour or so when my cousin needed help and all the changes I've noticed I liked)

I' m less disappointed, and more ticked off at Malamar's overpowered ability. Combine it with Superpower... Yeah. Same thing with Mega Kangaskhan. And on the topic of Mega Evolutions, it feels like they just overpowered the already overpowered even more, instead of trying to balance out the game. Mega Banette and Mega Mawile are all good, and there are possibly more powered-up Pokemon that have always needed a boost. But seriously?! Mega Blaziken? Mega Tyranitar? Mega $@&!&# Mewtwo?! It just feels unfair. Not to mention, with only a few Mega Evolutions, I keep seeing the same Pokemon online over and over again.
So, yeah, those are the things I'm disappointed about. X and Y are still great games, though!
I'm really running out of ideas for my signature.

I used to run on blast processing. Now I'm 64-bit.
Currently playing: ARK: Survival Evolved, Splatoon I AM STILL NEAR-PERFECT!!!
The lack of a substantial post-game. All we get is the Battle Maison (which is standard), Friend Safari, and the sidequest.
Yeah, that's my only disappointment, too.
what? this is true? yeah I'll get a Link Between Worlds and wait to see if Z comes out, the post-game is my favorite part in almost every Pokémon game I usually rush to the league to then take my time doing all else there is to do...
maybe that's why Crystal, Leaf Green and Emerald are my favorites ever(I only played Diamond in gen 4 and skipped gen 5 so I don't know much about it)

@GuSilverFlame: I loved Black/Black 2 so much because when you beat the game it's only half over! especially in Black version where you have to battle the Elite Four a second time to actually battle the Champion!
...at least in this one, though, I have the competitive battling scene to keep me occupied and give me something to work towards.

@GuSilverFlame: Haha, well I'd say go for it, it's an awesome game! I still don't understand why there are people who say they didn't like it... and I loved how all of the Pokémon were new until you beat the game, so there was lots to discover! ...but you should totally get X or Y, too, and then you could transfer all your Pokémon from previous games through it (like, transfer from Emerald to Diamond or Pearl (with a DS or DS lite) and then into Black and then into Pokémon Bank)! ...or you could wait until the "bonus version" ("Z" or whatever), you'll probably be able to access Pokémon Bank from that, too. It seems like it's gonna be a universal thing moving forward.
@Gioku I only skipped gen 5 because I was hyped for the 3DS(and had started playing tennis so instead of a game I got a tennis racket in my birthday that year) so when I was able to get Black/White I already had a 3DS and decided to wait for the 3DS Pokémon games to release

@Memeboy3 YES. Dunsparce NEEDS a evolution or mega evolution! It has so much wasted potential with Serene Grace, flinching moves and Glare/Thunder Wave. Once you get an opponent paralysed and start flinching them, they only have a 10% chance of attacking. I was going to playthrough the main story using a Dunsparce, hoping they give it something, but its stats are just too awful to use...
Anyway, the lack of post-game stuff was the most disappointing thing for me. You have so much stuff sitting there like the three locked Power Plants doing nothing it hurts, and the Battle Mainson is a real step down after the Battle Frontiers in the previous games. Maybe they're saving stuff for Z, but there's so little to do after the Champion...
@ShadowFox254 But Arcanine would be overpowered. They need to use Mega Evolutions to balance out the game.

This is my first generation of Pokemon, so I really can't state what I disliked. However, I will say something about Mega Evolution. While I like the feature, it really bothers me that only a small select number of Pokemon have a Mega form, and only highly popular ones as well. Heck, Charizard was already grossly overrated but they had to go and give him two Mega Evolutions along with Mewtwo.
This is further cemented by the fact of no Kalos Pokemon Mega Evolving, which is supposedly for Game Freak to gauge which new Pokemon become popular before the next game.
If all fully evolved Pokemon had Mega Forms (except legendaries, though again Mewtwo...) I wouldn't mind nearly as much. Speaking of which, how come Raichu didn't get a Mega form? One would think that the evolved version of Pikachu, the mascot of the franchise, would get a Mega Evolution...
There were aren't a lot of Pokémon made for Kalos, only 70 or less 'mons. The 3D visuals weren't available everywhere, only in battles (which makes it laggy) and caves. They gave Mega evolutions to overpowered Pokémon like Balzekin and Tyranitar, plus they didn't give Mega Evolutions to Gen 5 Pokémon.
I'd just like more water, more water Pokémon, and some actual post game content.
