Dont like Coke products to much cause IMO they are too sweet and not as fizzy as Pepsi's.
That's strange - most people I've heard declared the opposite. Pepsi definitely does have a crisper taste though IMO, but overall I prefer Coke (maybe I just have a severe case of brand loyalty).

Mine would probably be Wild Cherry Pepsi, but the one I drink most often is Dr. Thunder (generic Dr. Pepper). My favorite soda of all time, though, would have to be Pepsi Blue. I will forever lament the day that such a delectable drink was discontinued... >_<
Hee hee, Dr. Thunder. However I prefer Diet Twist Up. Speaking of generic sodas, does anyone here remember Go2 Cola? After a short attempt at copying Coke Zero, Safeway renamed it "Refreshe."
I like Mello Yello which seems to get a lot of hate from people I know. Beyond that I like trying soft drinks from other countries just to see what weird flavors are popular over there. In fact, I just tried a Wasabi Pea soda from the international store yesterday....that one didn't turn out so well.

Although I'd find Pepsi's taste to be better than Coke, Coke is very versatile in combining itself to various hard liquor. I myself enjoy a mix of Coke and Jack from time to time.
OMG total 90's meltdown there. I loved the original Crystal Pepsi not the the new stuff when they added the fruity flavors to it but the original. I remember my freshman year in high school back when schools were able to have soda machines on campus the Crystal Pepsi was always sold out in the Pepsi machine. Damn now I want one looks like I am going to have to scope out Ebay for some 20 year old soda .

True story: Coke is a briliant drink for athletes.
As dictated to me by a professional sports nutritionist.
Must be the caffeine buzz and Carbohydrates. It's quick and it's fast. However, i highly doubt they touch anything 'Diet' Diet Soda which obviously contains Aspertine is pretty bad for you. Of course in moderation it's not going to kill you, but people who drink it on a regular bases.....oh man. You're much better off going with regular 'sugar-filled' soda instead.
Also for regular or moderate Gym goers, Soda isn't exactly part of the meal plan. you can forget about achieveing a 6 pack by constantly adding all of that refined sugar and empty carbs to your diet. A Natural/Organic diet is the best way to go, but that goes for everybody in general. While throwing in a cheat day(depending on where you're at) every week, just so you can get your Pizza Hut on.
It's for the sugar and salt, actually. The two things that people tend to need when doing real exercise.
I think it's important to draw the distinction between real athletes, and gym users. Real athletes don't, as a rule of thumb, care about six packs. Know what a six pack is? It's skin stretched over muscle. It indicates a very unhealthy figure - it usually indicates a lack of hydration in the body.
The nutritional needs between someone who is looking to build a six pack, and looking to win a world championship in a sport, are very, very different. As a world-level athlete myself, I do indeed drink Coke at competitions.
Incedently, I find it amusing that people have this myth where they think that soft drinks are unhealthy (well, they are if you don't live a healthy lifestyle), but sports drinks are A-ok. Sports drinks are even worse if you don't exercise.
All that said, I completely agree with you on the Diet Coke thing. Diet Coke achieves nothing for anyone.

@Blue_Ace - THANK YOU!! I almost never see anyone who doesn't like Dr. Pepper, and IMO it tastes like medicine. It does live up to the claim that it has a unique taste.
@irken004 I tried a bottle of Vanilla Coke at a local sandwich shop - the vanilla just wasn't strong enough for my taste. I hear the problem is that they put in vanilla extract as opposed to vanilla syrup.
