This thread is here for any future discussion of game made by the venerable game developer, Omega Force.
Personally, I recently played the demo of Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage, and was thoroughly impressed with it. I'll admit, I never was a fan of The Dynasty Warriors games, but this felt more like a Beat 'em up in 3D, and it was great! The boss battles in particular impressed me, as they were actually fun and invigorating instead of repetitive and annoying. I can't wait to get my hands on the full game! I also want to check out the anime someday, too, though its length is putting me off.
I'm also looking forward to Dynasty Warriors: Gundam 3. It looks fantastic graphically, and gameplay-wise it looks like a big improvement over the previous entries. Not to mention I'm a HUGE Gundam fan.
Samurai Warriors: Chroniclers on the 3DS also looks great, like I might enjoy it this time around.
I think I'll download that demo right now! =D And, from what I've heard, just playing the game is a great way to get the story. It covers the entire manga,

I hope you like it, too. And thanks for telling me that. Any excuse to not lose months watching a single anime is greatly appreciated.
I'm muchly looking forward to Trinity, Zill O'll Zero, kind of an RPG mixed with the Warriors formula. As well as Samurai Warriors 3 on the PS3. Loved the Wii game, but HD should benefit this game greatly.

And of course, Samurai Warriors 3DS.
I'd be excited for those, too, if I had a PS3. Let us know how it is once you get it. And Samurai Warriors 3D looks awesome. You intending on getting and playing any of ther older Koei games? And have you played Ken's Rage?
I also noticed that DW: Gundam 3 doesn't have a U.S. release date yet. I hope that doesn't mean we won't ever get it.

Koei games? Or just Omega Force?
I don't plan on going back and playing the relatively primitive Dynasty Warriors 2-5 (1 isn't even a "warriors" game, it's a fighting game), or the early Samurai Warriors games.
I have, however, played Kessen in the past and quite enjoyed it. I really, really liked Bladestorm too - "Warriors" mixed with some light RTS elements in a "Joan of Arc" setting.
I have Ken's Rage. I enjoy it, but as I'm not a huge fan of the Manga, I can't say it's my favourite.
Another game I'm really looking forward to, but forgot about, was Warriors of Troy. The preview builds I've seen look epic.
As for other Koei games - I love Romance of the Three Kingdoms, Nobunaga's Ambition, Dragoneer's Aria on PSP, Opoona on Wii.... Koei is by far my favourite publisher, and it's because it's unashamedly Japanese, without going too over the top in the process. Koei knows its niche and hits it. Every time.
Ah. I wasn't sure if you might like the early ones, but whatev's. I think I'd like Dynasty Warriors 2 and 5 much more than I did with DW6, just because. As for Kessen and Bladestorm, they weren't my kind of games either.
I never read the manga, and I don't know if I'd actually like it either, but the gameplay and style are superb, but then again, I grew up with Beat 'em ups, so the Beat 'em up-in-3D sorta feel grabbed me right away.
I like Koei's other games, though I've only played older games in the series. Maybe I'll grab the more modern versions someday.
